A: It is highly recommended to use 5mm double glass because:
A sliding door with single glass looks unappealing due to the extra space that needs to be filled with silicon.
5mm double glass offers greater safety compared to 6mm single glass.
5mm double glass provides better soundproofing than single glass.
Q5: Can you use rubber instead of glass silicon?
A: Yes, but only on one side. The other side must use glass silicon for strength and durability, as double rubber is not robust and may fall off easily.
