A: It is better to use 5mm double glass because
a sliding door looks unappealing with single glass. There is a wide space meant for double glass, and using single glass would require excessive silicon to fill the gap.

Q5: Can you use rubber instead of glass silicon?
A: Yes, but it can only be on one side; the other side must be glass silicon. Double rubber isn't strong enough and is more prone to falling off compared to glass silicon.
